Overview

Mike Cavino is senior counsel in Chapman and Cutler’s Banking and Financial Services Department. He joined the firm in 2012.

Mike’s practice focuses on representing commercial banks in connection with various public finance matters, including liquidity agreements and letters of credits, as well as serving as underwriters’ counsel on behalf of investment banking firms. He also has experience representing bond insurers in connection with their financial guaranty insurance policies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mike was an associate with the law firm of King & Spalding LLP. He also served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department where he worked on various financings for the City of New York and its related entities.
