Your Career at Chapman

New employees joining the firm are immediately immersed with a five-day intensive orientation program that not only covers the skills they need for their particular job descriptions, but also trains them on our Macintosh computer system and firmwide networking tools. We also support the ongoing development of staff capabilities and provide periodic in-house training on any specific software, hardware, or professional development needed.

While the interaction between staff and their supervisors provides the opportunity for ongoing informal feedback, formal evaluations take place annually. Staff salaries are examined each year during this annual review process. The firm’s overall salary structure (including bonuses) is also reviewed annually to ensure compensation packages reflect both the firm’s growth and individual achievements.

Compensation & Benefits

Staff at Chapman enjoy a very competitive benefits package. After two years of service, the firm starts to contributing to your Retirement Plan account at the end of each year. In addition to a generous PTO policy, there are at least eight paid holidays each year, plus a floating holiday that you can use whenever is most convenient for you. Chapman also provides access to backup child and elder care, offers a tax gross up for health care benefits for same-sex couples and has a robust Employee Assistance Plan. 

Chapman provides, at no cost to its employees, life insurance and long-term disability insurance. We also pay for the majority of your health insurance if you choose to get coverage through our group plan with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
