Chapman and Cutler served as bond counsel with respect to the City of Chicago's $250,000,000 Chicago-O'Hare International Airport Passenger Facility Charge Revenue Bonds, the first major "stand-alone" revenue bonds payable from passenger facility charges.

In 2002 the Airport Finance Group was instrumental in structuring a $119 million, multi-state, cross-collateralized, senior/subordinate tax-exempt financing for air cargo facilities.

Our Special Litigation, Bankruptcy and Workout Group has represented investors, secured lenders or indenture trustees in several of the largest airline bankruptcy matters including United Airlines, Continental Airlines, America West Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Midway Airlines and Trans World Airlines.
