Meghann Salamasick is an associate in Chapman's Banking and Financial Services Department. She joined the firm in 2013.

Meghann's experience includes both commercial litigation and corporate transactions, specifically in the area of commercial banking. She has represented both creditors and borrowers at the origination and documentation stage of secured and unsecured lending, with a primary focus in commercial real estate based lending secured by owner-occupied and investment property.

In addition, Meghann has worked in the area of distressed finance, including transactional and litigation practice related to defaults, workout strategies, foreclosures, and restructures of commercial financing. She has also handled real estate transactions involving sales and acquisitions of real property, as well as preparation and negotiation of lease agreements. She has also represented various corporate clients in both buy-side and sell-side acquisition transactions, representation for funding of asset and stock purchases and related transactions.

Prior to joining Chapman, Meghann practiced in the Commercial Litigation & Corporate Transactions group at Lowis & Gellen LLP. She also served as a volunteer attorney with the Chicago Park District.
