Mike Voldstad is a partner in Chapman's Banking and Financial Services Department and member of the Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group. He represents banks and other investors in the development, negotiation, and documentation of new financial products in the municipal capital markets. He also has experience in the areas of banking, securitization, derivative products, and project finance. 

Mike's practice involves extensive involvement in both the primary and secondary municipal capital markets, including the development of direct lending documentation for major commercial banks as well as the development of tender option bond programs and an array of derivative products for use in the municipal market. 

Mike also represents underwriters and issuers in public offerings of municipal bonds to finance a wide variety of public and private facilities, including water and sewer systems, energy (including joint action agencies), airports, and health care and educational facilities. Mike has also represented banks and investment funds in project financings and international debt restructuring matters.
