Tasha Serafin is an associate in Chapman's Commercial Lending Group and member of the firm's Banking and Financial Services Department. Her practice is focused on the representation of financial institutions, including banks and specialty finance firms, in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of a variety of secured and unsecured credit facilities. Her work focuses on asset-based lending, leveraged financings, and real estate financings.
Tasha participated in Chapman's summer associate program in 2017 and joined the firm in 2018. While in law school, Tasha worked as a capital management legal intern at the Northern Trust Corporation where she assisted the bank with its federally mandated stress-testing. She also worked as a student clinician for the Loyola Business Law Clinic where she represented entrepreneurs, small business owners, and not-for-profit organizations.
After graduation, Tasha worked as a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
