Chapman partner Larry Halperin participated in a case study presentation for members of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA). The program, Something Special in the Air: A Distressed Investment Case Study on the American Airlines Bankruptcy and the Principles That Made It Soar Out of Bankruptcy, will examine why distressed investing as an alternative asset class has outperformed other investment disciplines by highlighting the American Airlines bankruptcy case, which to date has been one of the most successful investments in history.
