Chapman and Cutler Welcomes New Partner Kristin Parker

Kristin Parker joined Chapman and Cutler as a partner in the Banking and Financial Services Department, where she focuses her practice on environmental, health, and safety matters. She is well-versed in assessing and negotiating environmental liabilities and represents lenders, bidders, targets, and investors with the environmental aspects of a variety of transactions, including project financing, real estate development, divestitures, mergers, and acquisitions, and advises public companies on environmental disclosures under US securities laws. Kristin also works with manufacturing, utility, chemical, oil and gas, and other industrial and commercial clients in connection with a wide variety of environmental and OSHA matters, including regulatory and legislative development, air and water permitting, climate change issues, environmental audit programs, hazardous waste remediation, enforcement, and insurance matters.  She has represented clients in transactions involving renewable energy projects, including off-shore projects and wind and solar projects where the Endangered Species Act was implicated.  Prior to joining Chapman, Kristin practiced at Jones Day.
