Chapman and Cutler has been recognized again for contributions furthering LGBT equality within the workplace. Based on results from its 2016 law firm survey, Equality Illinois released its annual list of the top law firms demonstrating commitment to ending gender- and sexual orientation-based discrimination. This is Chapman’s seventh consecutive appearance on the list.

As part of its firmwide commitment to diversity, Chapman actively supports LGBT attorneys through its LGBT Affinity Group and provides inclusive and comprehensive benefit policies for same-sex couples. Chapman’s LGBT Affinity Group is comprised of openly gay attorneys and offers opportunities for mentoring, networking, and engaging in strategic discussions. The firm works closely with various organizations across the city, state, and nation to affect positive change through education and awareness.
