Chapman attorneys Rick Cosgrove and Nate Odem served as drafting counsel on a comment letter submitted to the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) on behalf of the American Bankers Association (ABA). The comment letter was submitted in response to the MSRB’s request for comment on its “Concept Proposal to Improve Disclosure of Direct Purchases and Bank Loans.” The proposal would require municipal advisors to disclose information on the direct purchases and bank loans of municipal entity clients.
