CHICAGO—Gilda’s Club Chicago is pleased to welcome Tim Mohan as Board Chair. Mohan has been on the GCC Board for seven years, including four years of service on the Cancer Support Community Affiliate Council. In the latter capacity, Mohan was part of a nationwide group charged with bringing high-level strategic thinking to all 50 affiliates of the Cancer Support Community including Gilda’s Club Chicago. Mohan is the Chief Executive Partner of the law firm of Chapman and Cutler LLP, where he chairs the firm’s management committee and is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm and advises clients in the areas of banking, asset securitization and public finance. He takes on the role enthusiastically, stating “Gilda’s Club Chicago serves an important purpose in our community by ensuring that no one has to face cancer alone. Their programming is designed for anyone diagnosed with cancer as well as the family and friends who support them. You never know how important that is until you or someone in your family is impacted by cancer.” Mohan assumes the reins from David Selby who remains on the Board.
