Overview
Amanda Mehr is an associate in Chapman’s Banking and Financial Services Department and member of the Litigation Group. Her practice is focused on a wide range of complex commercial litigation issues, including commercial real estate transactions, consumer finance litigation, contract disputes, and commercial lending/restructuring issues.
Amanda participated in Chapman's summer associate program in 2020 and joined the firm in 2021.
In the summer of 2021, Amanda worked as a PILI Graduate Fellow at the Just the Beginning – a pipeline organization focused on introducing students from underrepresented communities to the legal field. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Eve Reilly in the Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County.
Prior to attending law school, Amanda taught high school English as a Teach for America corps member in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and served as a school and district administrator.
