Overview

Jasmina Resic is an associate in Chapman's Corporate and Securities Department and a member of the firm's Investment Management Group and Private Funds Group. Her practice is focused on representing investment advisers and registered investment companies in a variety of regulatory and transactional matters involving exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, mutual funds, and unit investment trusts.

She also represents institutional investors and sponsors of private investment funds, private equity and hedge funds, and other investment vehicles. In addition, Jasmina works with private fund clients on compliance issues and fund formation.

Jasmina participated in Chapman's summer associate program in 2016 and joined the firm in 2017. While in law school, Jasmina worked as a legal intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a student clinician for the Loyola Business Law Clinic representing entrepreneurs, small business owners, and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to law school, Jasmina worked in the retail banking industry as an assistant branch manager and personal banker.
