Overview

Karen Thompson is senior counsel in Chapman's Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Department. Karen's practice focuses on representing foreign and domestic commercial banks as direct lenders and as providers of credit enhancement and liquidity support in a wide range of transactions. Her experience includes serving as counsel to commercial banks and insurance companies as providers of structured investment products such as guaranteed investment contracts, forward delivery agreements, repurchase agreements, and escrow float agreements.

Prior to joining Chapman, Karen practiced at Kutak Rock LLP.
