Melissa Ahn is counsel in Chapman's Asset Securitization Department. Her practice focuses on the representation of lenders, issuers and investors in structured finance transactions involving a variety of asset classes. Melissa's experience includes matters involving domestic and international counterparties; advising on financial downgrade consequences and potential cross-default triggers; and serving as counsel to capital providers in the muni bond market and PACE-related transactions. She has also advised clients on internal reorganization and restructurings, including mergers, stock purchases, option rights, and liquidations.

Melissa has previously served as an adjunct professor at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School and practiced at an Am Law 100 firm.
