Overview
Orion Mountainspring is a partner in Chapman's Asset Securitization Department. He has a broad background in asset finance, securitization, mortgage finance, and derivatives.
Orion frequently represents warehouse lenders and borrowers, forward flow and static pool loan purchasers and issuers, underwriters, and investors in public and private conduit and term transactions backed by structured asset classes, including consumer loans, residential and commercial mortgages, student loans, solar loans, marketplace lending, auto loans, credit cards, shipping, and municipal bonds. He has also worked with issuers and underwriters to develop multiple solar securitization programs.
Prior to joining Chapman, Orion worked at a major investment bank and as an analyst at one of the top three rating agencies.
