Overview
Valerie Clark is counsel in the Asset Securitization Department of Chapman and Cutler LLP. Valerie’s experience includes representing financial institutions, issuers, trustees and marketplace lending platforms in a broad range of securitization and structured finance transactions, including warehouse lending, secured credit facilities and publicly registered and privately placed asset securitization transactions. She has experience with asset classes including marketplace consumer loans, student loans, small business loans, credit card receivables, automobile loans, aircraft and equipment loans and leases.
Valerie has also represented corporate borrowers, financial institutions and private equity sponsors in banking and financial transactions involving aircraft finance, leveraged acquisitions, secured term loan and revolving credit facilities and Rule 144A senior and subordinated debt offerings.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Valerie worked as a corporate associate for Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in New York.

Chapman served as lead counsel to a US investment bank, as agent and senior lender, in connection with a $100+ million warehouse financing for an originator of consumer loans in Canada.
