Overview

Eric is senior counsel in Chapman's Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group. His experience includes representing banks, municipalities, and public authorities in a wide variety of public finance transactions. This experience includes direct lending, providing credit and liquidity support for tax-exempt and taxable financings, and municipal leasing programs.

He has substantial experience in transportation financings and has acted as bond counsel and underwriters' counsel for nearly two decades, advising on general obligation bonds, special tax district financings, subject to appropriation financings, and municipal utility financings. He has represented issuers throughout the country including in New York, North Carolina, California, and Virginia.

Prior to joining Chapman in 2022, Eric practiced in the New York and Washington, DC, offices of two international law firms. He has also worked as a certified public accountant.
