Nancy Roberts Linder is the Chief Marketing Officer where she manages the firm's marketing department and supports strategic planning initiatives. Nancy has worked with professional service entities, primarily law firms, for the past 25 years. For 18 of those years, Nancy managed her own law firm consulting practice where she created marketing function infrastructure and advised lawyers on client development and client relationship management matters. Prior to starting her consulting practice, Nancy was the first marketer hired by a 300-lawyer Chicago firm where she was responsible for creating the marketing department and developing and implementing programs. 

In addition to her law firm work, Nancy developed a curriculum to teach marketing skills to law students. The program was taught at Chicago-Kent College of Law and Valparaiso University School of Law. Both schools were the first in their respective states to present this type of issue-specific programming for their students. In 2003, Chicago-Kent College of Law bestowed Nancy with a Professional Achievement Award for this innovative program. The program was also recognized with an award from the Legal Marketing Association. 

Nancy has been an active member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA). She served on the Midwest Chapter Board of Directors since the chapter’s inception in 1989 through 2000, served twice as president, and was inducted into the chapter’s Hall of Fame.  She is also an active member of the Chicago Bar Foundation (CBF) Marketing Committee, served as chair of the committee, and is a former member of the CBF board of directors.

Nancy has published more than 100 articles and speaks on a variety of lawyer marketing topics, including conducting CLE pertaining to the ethics rules governing lawyer marketing.
