Overview

Chapman and Cutler LLP's Higher Education Group is an integral part of the firm's public finance practice. We regularly serve as bond counsel or underwriter's counsel in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt bonds for the benefit of colleges and universities located throughout the country. The firm's clients include both private institutions of higher education and public universities. Our client list includes a wide variety of institutions ranging from nationally recognized universities to small liberal arts colleges.

The Higher Education Group regularly collaborates with investment bankers to develop improved financing structures. In addition to the traditional fixed rate transactions, the Group's transactions include a wide range of variable rate structures, auction rate products and off-balance sheet housing transactions.
