Chapman served as counsel to Dairyland Power Cooperative in its acquisition of two natural gas-fired generation facilities in Illinois—the Elgin Energy Center in Elgin and the Rocky Road facility in East Dundee—from Avenue Capital Group. The acquisition supports Dairyland’s strategic transition towards a lower-carbon future while enhancing reliability and resource adequacy for the rural communities it serves in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
