Chapman served as US counsel to Mishmeret Trust Company Ltd. in connection with the issuance by Bank Hapoalim of US$2 billion of bonds, which were sold to institutional investors in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other markets in a transaction exempt from registration requirements. This transaction marks the largest overseas bond issuance completed by an Israeli bank to date. Partner John Hitt led the Chapman transaction team.
