Overview

Chris Walrath is a partner in Chapman's National Public Finance Department. He has been practicing law since 1991, when he joined Chapman. His experience includes acting as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, special corporate counsel, purchaser's counsel, and disclosure counsel with respect to the issuance of revenue bonds on behalf of 501(c)(3) institutions, including health care systems, hospitals, nursing homes, colleges, universities and YMCAs.

Chris has worked on various tax-exempt and taxable financings around the county as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, special corporate counsel, and disclosure counsel. Among others, Chris has participated in transactions for the benefit of AdventHealth, Intermountain Health Care, PeaceHealth, Orlando Health, Rush University Health System, Edward Elmhurst Healthcare, North Mississippi Health Services, Columbia College Chicago, Midwestern University, Millikin University, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, and YMCA of Metropolitan New York.
