Overview

Eric Fess is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Department of the firm. He has been practicing law since 1978 when he joined Chapman and Cutler LLP.

Eric concentrates his practice in securities law matters with particular emphasis on investment companies, including unit investment trusts and open-end and closed-end mutual funds. In addition, his experience includes bank holding company work, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and taxable and tax-exempt municipal finance transactions.
