Overview
Swathi Farina is senior counsel and a member of Chapman's Commercial Lending Group. She represents banks and other commercial lenders in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of a wide range of credit facilities, including syndicated, bilateral, multi-currency, and secured and unsecured credit facilities. Her practice focuses on acquisition financings, sponsor financings, cash-flow lending, commercial lending, franchisee financings, and lease and equipment financings. Swathi’s experience spans a variety of industries, including agriculture, business and consulting services, consumer manufacturers and retailers, education, financial institutions, food (processors, producers, and distributors), health care, and private equity and portfolio companies.
Swathi began her legal career at Chapman, participating in Chapman's summer associate program and then joining the firm as an associate. Prior to rejoining Chapman, she practiced law with Sidley Austin LLP and a Florida-based firm.
