Overview

Brett Strickland is senior counsel and member of Chapman's Investment Management Group. Brett focuses his practice on the representation of investment companies and related governance matters, including reporting, disclosure, and securities law issues. He has extensive background working with funds and their boards of directors, as well as investment advisers, on Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and FINRA matters in connection with new products and ongoing regulatory compliance and management.

Prior to joining Chapman, Brett served as in-house legal counsel to Harbor Capital Advisors, advising on a wide range of investment management, regulatory, and corporate compliance matters.
