Overview

Chrissie Simpson is a senior counsel and member of Chapman's Banking and Financial Services Department and Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group. She has extensive experience in commercial financing and the public finance sector. Chrissie represents banks, private credit/direct lenders, and finance companies on a wide range of secured and unsecured commercial financing, including syndicated, asset-based, construction, bridge, mezzanine and permanent loan structures. Chrissie has a depth of experience representing lenders on term and revolving line of credit loans secured by variety of collateral, including real property, crops, equipment, production contracts, intellectual property, and personal and corporate guaranties.

In addition to commercial financings, Chrissie has a comprehensive background leading bond financings for higher education institutions, health care entities and senior living communities. Chrissie has served as bond counsel, borrower counsel, and underwriter counsel on tax-exempt and taxable revenue bond issuances, including variable rate private placements and complex public offerings.
