Overview

Kamillia Scott is senior counsel and a member of Chapman’s Commercial Lending Group and Public and Institutional Banking & Finance Group. She represents commercial lenders in structuring and documenting real estate financing transactions, including construction and permanent loans, asset-based financings, lines of credit, and revolving and term loan facilities. She also advises foreign and domestic credit providers on bank facilities that provide credit enhancement and liquidity support for tax-exempt securities, as well as on the direct purchase of tax-exempt securities.

Prior to joining Chapman, Kamillia practiced law with an Am Law 50 firm where she focused her practice on real estate finance, representing institutional lenders in commercial transactions across multifamily, hotel, retail, and mixed-use asset classes.
