Overview
Tom Callahan is an associate and member of Chapman’s Asset Securitization Department where he represents underwriters, issuers, and sponsors in a broad range of securitization and structured finance matters. Tom’s practice includes the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of warehouse lending arrangements, secured credit facilities, and private placements spanning diverse asset classes such as consumer loan receivables, trade receivables, home improvement loans, and both performing and non-performing residential mortgages. In addition, Tom has substantial experience advising clients on commercial aircraft finance and leasing matters, including cross-border and domestic transactions.
Tom maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily representing Russian-speaking clients in refugee, active asylum, and other United States immigration matters.
Prior to joining Chapman, Tom practiced law in the banking and finance groups at Dentons and Clifford Chance.
