Overview

Greg Pealer is a senior paralegal in the firm’s Banking Department. He joined Chapman and Cutler LLP in 1997.

Greg assists partners and associates with the pre-closing due diligence, the preparation of closing documents and post-closing due diligence for commercial loan transactions representing banks and other financial institutions in secured and unsecured loans.  He also assists the corporation and general litigation department in out-of-court workouts and restructurings.  His experience includes asset-based financings, cash flow loans, working capital revolving credit financings, real estate finance transactions and cross-border credits with primary focus on secured lending including personal property, real property, intellectual property, the Uniform Commercial Code, and titled vehicles. 

Prior to joining the firm, Greg worked at BMO Harris Bank as a loan administrator and at Sidley Austin LLP.
