Melanie Haywood is an associate in Chapman's Commercial Lending Group and a member of the Banking and Financial Services Department. Her practice is focused on the representation of banks and other financial institutions in the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of a variety of secured and unsecured credit facilities. Her experience includes transactions across a range of industries involving asset-based lending, leveraged financing, acquisition financing, and sponsor finance.

Melanie participated in Chapman's summer associate program in 2018 and joined the firm in 2019. During law school, Melanie served as a fellow at the Mary and Michael Jaharis Health Law Institute.
