Overview

Chapman and Cutler counsels clients in all aspects of technology and payment processing matters. We analyze technology-related contracts for clients, focusing on such critical aspects as acquisition and maintenance of hardware; the procurement, licensing and maintenance of software; software development arrangements; customization; and various types of confidentiality agreements.

In addition to reviewing and negotiating major transaction documents, we prosecute and defend patent infringement claims and other violations of proprietary information rights.

Additionally, we work with our clients on cash management programs, provide or receive processing and other vendor services and outsource functions as client needs dictate.
