Chapman is serving as lead counsel to Clairvest Group Inc. and Clairvest Equity Partners VII in the acquisition and financing of the Northfield Park racino in Ohio from MGM Resorts International in a transaction valued at approximately $546 million. Chapman partner Cathy Rossouw and associate Yuliya Zahoroda are leading the acquisition team that includes partners Heath Martin, Kristin Parker, and Michael Twersky and associates Helena Honig, Carson Klarck, and Julie Song. The financing team is being led by partner Eric Manor and associate Veronica Constable.
The Northfield Park transaction will be Chapman’s sixth gaming transaction as counsel to Clairvest and follows a series of other casino and racino transactions handled by Chapman in recent years.
